The Universe and its limitations

For it to know and for me to find out.
The audacity to grasp, such vastness,
with the finger nails of the mind,
the truth of the matter, the scope of it all.
How can I, so ever small,
conceive its gargantuan border?
The limit and beyond
the empty space,
the atom in the molecule
and so on and so forth,
Just to know how small I am?
Because I do not believe
I am not capable, apparently,
of knowing it.
But I search every day any way I can,
for a simple answer,
the two inch equation,
that has complicated,
of our own doing,
the concept of the cosmos,
that, what we are.
